Ray has been serving Preston County and the surrounding area as a State Farm Insurance Agent for over 36 years. Ray has been and remains involved in the community he serves and enjoys supporting local youth league sports teams, the county's school programs, and many more local non-profit organizations. He is past chairman and current member of the Preston Memorial Hospital Board of Directors, Treasurer of Rotary Club of Kingwood, Member of the Preston County Chamber of Commerce, Wade's World of Wonder Board of Directors, and Past General Chairman of the Preston County Buckwheat Festival. Ray and his office were honored by being named the Preston County Chamber of Commerce's Business of the Year in 2021 along with the Preston County News and Journal's 2020 and 2022 Reader's Choice Awards as Preston County's Top Insurance Agency. Ray and his wife Laurie were both born and raised in WV and raised their two boys, T.J. and Cody, in Preston County. They currently have three grandsons, Jayden, Tristan and Luca and a granddaughter on the way. Ray and Laurie enjoy spending time with their families, boating, traveling, off-road buggy riding, and WVU sports. Ray graduated from Fairmont State College in 1983 with a B.S. in Business Administration. On March 1, 1989, he opened his State Farm Insurance Agency to serve the insurance needs of Preston County and the surrounding area while residing in Kingwood. Ray's office offers Vehicle Insurance, ATV/UTV Insurance, Homeowners/Renters Insurance, Rental Property Insurance, Health Supplement policies, Life Insurance, Personal Article Policies (PAP), Personal Liability Umbrella Policies (PLUP), Business Insurance and provides free quotes for all lines of insurance.

Samantha Boyce has been a Team Member for close to 6 years and is our current Office Manager. Samantha is licensed in Auto, Home, Life and Health Insurance. Megan Myers joined our team almost and year and a half ago and is licensed in Auto, Home, Life and Health Insurance. Laurie has been involved in the insurance business for over thirty-six years, she was my first Account Representative when I opened my office in March of 1989. Laurie currently assists with our marketing needs and social media accounts outside of the office. Our team members are here to serve you and assist you with any and all of your insurance needs.
