Ray has been serving Preston County and the surrounding area as a State Farm Insurance Agent for a little over 35 years. Ray has been and remains involved in the community he serves and enjoys supporting local youth league sports teams and the county's school programs. He is past chairman and current member of the Preston Memorial Hospital Board of Directors, Treasurer of Rotary Club of Kingwood, Member of the Preston County Chamber of Commerce, Wade's World of Wonder Board of Directors, and Past General Chairman of the Preston County Buckwheat Festival. Ray and his office were honored by being named the Preston County Chamber of Commerce's Business of the Year in 2021 along with the Preston County News and Journal's 2020 and 2022 Reader's Choice Awards as Preston County's Top Insurance Agency. Ray and his wife Laurie were both born and raised in WV and raised their two boys, T.J. and Cody, in Preston County. They currently have three grandsons, Jayden and Luca are Cody and Virginia's sons and Tristan is T.J. and Paige's son. Ray and Laurie enjoy spending time with their families, boating, traveling, riding UTV's, and WVU sports. Laurie is also a member of the Rotary Club of Kingwood and serves on the Preston Memorial Hospital Foundation Board and the Patient and Family Advisory Council at PMH. Ray graduated from Fairmont State College in 1983 with a B.S. in Business Administration. On March 1, 1989, he opened his State Farm Insurance Agency to serve the insurance needs of Preston County and the surrounding area while residing in Kingwood. Ray's office offers Vehicle Insurance, ATV/UTVInsurance, Homeowners and Renters Insurance, Rental Property Insurance, Health Insurance, Life Insurance, Personal Article Policies (PAP), Personal Liability Umbrella Policies (PLUP), Business Insurance and provides free quotes for all lines of insurance.

Laurie has been involved in the insurance business for at least thirty-five years, she was my first Account Representative when I opened my office in March of 1989. Cheryl has over 21 years of insurance experience and serves as our Office Manager. Cheryl retired at the beginning of 2021 but still enjoys working part-time in our office. She is a tremendous asset and her experience allows her to provide you with superior customer service. Cheryl is licensed in Auto, Home, Life and Health insurance, and she resides in Preston County with her husband Sam. They enjoy spending time camping and traveling. Cheryl enjoys crafting as well. Together they have 4 daughters and 11 grandchildren.

Samantha has been a Team Member in our office for over 4 years. She is a great asset to our team and to State Farm Insurance Company. Samantha is licensed to serve you in Auto, Home, Life and Health Insurance. Samantha is a lifelong Preston County resident and lives with her husband Ty and nine-year-old son Wylee. They enjoy spending time with their families, listening to Ty play and sing at different venues, and watching Wylee play youth league baseball.
